Thursday August 5th: Singalong with DELIGHTFUL DANIELA 10:15 am for babies, 11:15 am for the over threes.
Monday August 9th: Stories and music with LIZ 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm
Thursday August 12th: Animal Encounters with CHARLES MASON 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Monday August 16th: Fun with Drums with TANIA D'SOUSA 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

We're Back!
Muswell Hill Toy Library is back in action! We opened yesterday and what with Daniela's singalong, Liz's storytime and all the smiling faces, it was like we'd never been away! We would like to thank all our customers for waiting so patiently for our reopening, and an especially big thank you to everyone involved who helped make it happen. We would also like to welcome new volunteer Catherine to the fold - watch out for her on the Who We Are page very soon!
Well it has been a long wait, but it looks like Muswell Hill Toy Library will be back in action very soon! We would like to thank all our customers for bearing with us over this difficult period...we can't wait to see you! Our grand reopening is most likely to be on Mid-June, but this is still to be confirmed, so keep checking the website. In the meantime we'd like to let you know about the exciting changes taking place at MHTL, and the treats we have in store for you!
Daniela will be back with her much-loved Singalong Sessions twice a week, and we will still of course have Storytime every day with Head Librarian Liz and her magical stories! We'll be making our sessions much more interactive with a host of new props and instruments - there'll be a whole new range of puppets and we've even added a ukelele to the mix! We've always welcomed feedback and suggestions from our customers regarding the sessions, and this will certainly continue, so get your thinking caps on for anything else you'd like to see.

You'll also be seeing some changes to the Library itself - thanks to the renovation, we have had quite a makeover!
We have got some lovely new open-plan cupboards, which we hope will make browsing and choosing toys even easier for you:

We will still have our fantastic range of videos and dressing-up clothes, and have compiled extensive lists and catalogues for our members to enjoy, making choosing even easier!

And don't forget that the Highgate Festival is happening this year on Saturday 12th June - come and see us at the Muswell Hill Toy Library stall!
One last thing...now, don't quote me on this...but there's a wild rumour going around that this summer might see another appearance of the famous Animal Man! Watch this space.

Closure for Renovation
The Muswell Hill Toy Library is currently closed for renovations and due to circumstances beyond our control we will be remaining closed until Thursday, June 3rd. While we are closed you will still be able to find Liz on the ground floor of the Library Building, near the adult books, during our usual opening hours. It will still be possible to return toys and we are happy to loan toys returned by others the same day, but choice will unfortunately be limited! Fines will NOT be charged until 2 weeks after we reopen.
